What:  Batesville Choral Society Rehearsal

When:  Monday, January 28th, 7-9pm

Where:  First Presbyterian Church, 774 East Boswell, Batesville

What:  Heartsaver CPR and First Aid Class

When:  Monday, January 28th, 6-10pm

Where:  Alan Davis Conference Center, Batesville

What Else:  There is a fee of $40, which covers the cost of text book and CPR card.  Register at 870-793-3351.

 

What:  5th Wednesday Family Night

When:  Wednesday, January 30th, 5pm

Where:  Hazel Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church, 4th and Locust, Newark

What:  Black River Technical College GED Class Registration

When:  Wednesday, January 30th, 9am

Where:  Strawberry Community Center

What Else:  This FREE class is for individuals that wish to prepare for the GED test and those that wish to brush up on their basic academic skills before entering college.  Class hours and meeting dates will be determined at registration.  If you cannot attend, but would like to register by phone, call 870-248-4130.

 

What:  A benefit account has been established at First Community Bank in the name of Shelby Hughes.  The account was established for Rebekah Hughes.  Rebekah has bladder cancer and doesn’t have insurance.  A donation can be made at any First Community Bank location to help with extra expenses.

 

What:  My Choice Clinic’s First Annual Art Auction

When:  Friday, February 1st, 6:30pm

Where:  Landers Theater, 332 East Main Street, Batesville

What Else:  Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on art from local and regional artists.  Hors d’oeuvres will be served and preferred attire is cocktail attire.  A limited number of tickets are available and the cost $25.  Tickets are being sold at Carlee’s Hallmark, Heritage House and My Choice Clinic.  All proceeds go directly to fund My Choice Clinic’s free services.  For more information, contact the clinic at 870-613-7860.

What:  Basic Horticulture Training Class Application Time
